The Madre Tierra owner compliments your full course organic breakfasts and dinners as a gift for all world travelers to be included with your room so that you don’t miss this culinary treat experience. You can choose the vegetarian and/or the chicken, fish or meat dish at dinner (or have both…“un mixto”), and you can select either the traditional full course “workers lunch” or a choice of many other tasty lunches. Your meals come with delicious breads baked fresh daily on the premises, veggies and fruits right out of the gardens, with special incredible desserts and the Madre Tierra sugar cane cocktail at dinner. Main meals are served in our romantic patio restaurant with candlelight, fresh roses and flower arrangements, and soft background music (or sometimes live music) in our lush tropical garden. Meals can also be served in your room, in the gardens, at the pool, or on the viewing deck.
Full course breakfast: Start with a fresh organic fruit salad covered with fresh kefir and freshly baked, homemade granola, followed by a main dish that varies including eggs, grain or corn or onion or other pancakes, corn or potato patties, tamales, or a variety of ethnic and/or international main dishes (a different main course every day), always with whole grain breads baked fresh daily and freshly baked muesli from our own bakery, home made jams, fresh organic coffee or tea from the garden, and our own organic 15-20 fresh herb daily horchata.
Full course dinner: Start with delicious homemade light flavorful soup, choice of vegetarian or meat (or try both) as your main course dishes, our famous hummus, daily freshly baked seven grain bread, a just picked organic garden salad, and a very special delicious dessert, organic coffee, tea and horchata, the Madre Tierra sugar cane alcohol cocktail, and sweet organic popcorn.
Lunch: Choose from the Madre Tierra Menu or try the famous “Workers Lunch”, a full-course delicious meal. Daily special luncheon soups are a meal in themselves. Or hot or cold sandwiches, salads, smoked chicken platters, delicious fried but not greasy potatoes, hamburgers or veggie burgers, homemade tempeh, Mexican and other international dishes including the best tacos, and what many say are the best pizzas on the planet, and more. Lunch is served in the main restaurant, at the pool bar, on the viewing deck, or in your room.
Bar
Our bar offers a complete drinks menú, including wine and beer, cocktails, health smoothies, juices, horchata, and soft drinks…and a food menú available at the bar and orchid garden by the pool. Here we have DirecTV available so that guests can enjoy music, a documentary, movies, sports, news, or watch one of many movie choices from our extensive film library. From the bar, there is access to the terraced area where you can enjoy a game of pool/billiards or a dip in the pool.
